The famous sound of the IMT 539 Deluxe tractor, when idling, produced such a delightful and whistling sound to the ear that you could recognize it even if you could not see it. But when the tractor driver stepped on the gas, the full power of this iconic red devil was immediately felt. The machine was locally also called “Ferguson," which came from the fact that the IMT factory (Industrija mašina i traktor) was granted a license from the Canadian-British tractor manufacturer Massey Ferguson.
