The timeless design of the kiosk was designed in 1966 by Slovenian architect and designer Saša J. Maechtig. The system was based on reinforced polyester modules that could be used as separate or combined units. In this way, Yugoslavs could buy newspapers, fruits and vegetables, ice cream, and hot dogs in these kiosks, and the militia used them as their mini city units. Kiosk K67, with its unique and modern design, has been added to the permanent exhibition of the MOMA Museum in New York.
